• Name — Hatchling Growing Up (Little Wing’s Big Adventure).
• Available from char lvl 55.
• Walkthrough is valid Interlude – High Five.

1. To take this quest you must have a summoned hatchling of at least lvl 55. The quest starts in Hunter’s Village at NPC Wiseman Cronos.

2. Then go to Enchanted Valley — northern entrance (Northern Region); there is a direct TP from Hunter’s Village. Run deep in and find NPC Fairy Mimyu — you know her if you did the hatchling quest. Talk to the fairy with the pet summoned; after the dialog 4 leaves appear in inventory. 

3. Now you need to visit 4 trees. Their locations are marked pretty accurately on the map, so they’re easy to find. To complete the task, attack each tree with the hatchling until 1 leaf disappears from inventory. The tree itself is relatively weak, only 2600 HP, so turn off SS, unequip claws and cancel all buffs on the pet so you don’t kill it — otherwise you’ll wait ~15 minutes for respawn. Even without that the hatchling will hit it for about 100 dmg, and you need many hits, so it’s best to have a healer heal the tree with Ctrl to speed it up and not wait on regen.

During the attack, guards spawn. You can kill them yourself or hold them in sleep, stun, agro, etc. When the hatchling lands enough hits, the tree asks for mercy and 1 leaf disappears from inventory. Do this for all 4 trees until all leaves are gone.

Then return to Fairy Mimyu and talk to her with the pet summoned. Then unsummon it and talk to the fairy again. After that the flute disappears from inventory and you get Dragon Bugle of Wind (or another, depending on which hatchling you had), which summons a strider.

How to get a Wyvern (flying dragon)

There are pets in the game that can fly — Wyverns. But they’re not available to everyone. To get a flying dragon you must be clan leader of a clan that owns a castle, a fortress, or certain clan halls. There is no wyvern quest.

To summon, the char must be mounted on a strider and have 25 B-grade crystals in inventory. Then talk to the Wyvern Manager, usually on a balcony of the upper floors. After that you can fly around the l2 world — but don’t forget to buy special food for this pet.
