To use a cloak, the character must equip a full S80 or higher armor set; after that a special slot becomes active. There are several cloak options in the game, differing in P.Def and extra stats. This article covers them all.

Ancient Cloak

 Ancient Cloak (Ancient Cloak) – P.Def – 20. 

This cloak is a reward for the quest Path to Glory. It has 4 stages and is taken from Reputation Manager Rapidus on the square in Aden. On stage 1 you need to kill at least 9 characters in Territory Wars or land battles who are registered for other territories. The enemy must be level 61+. After that wait for TW to end and talk to Reputation Manager Rapidus.

Stage 2 — kill 18 enemies and talk to the manager after TW ends. Stage 3 — 27 enemies. Stage 4 — 36 enemies. After all stages talk to the manager and get your reward.

Knight’s Cloak

 
  Knight’s Cloak (Knight’s Cloak) – P.Def – 20, Dark attribute resist + 30.

The cloak can be bought from the Castle Chamberlain for 35,838,750 Adena. Only clan members can wear this cloak; it does not matter which castle it was bought from or which castle the clan currently owns.

Holy Spirit’s Cloak

 
Holy Spirit’s Cloak (Holy Spirit’s Cloak) – P.Def – 20, Dark attribute resist + 30.

This cloak can drop as loot from successful hunts on some raid bosses.

RB cloaks

In the HF update, some raid bosses such as Freya, Zaken and Frintezza can drop cloaks with higher stats. There are two versions of these cloaks: a normal one and a soul cloak of the RB, with slightly higher stats.

Cloak of Zaken (Cloak of Zaken) – P.Def – 20, increases resist to all elements. Can drop from this RB with a chance of 2.693% — 3.293% 

Soul Cloak of Zaken (Soul Cloak of Zaken) – P.Def – 40, increases resist to all elements. Lets you teleport to RB Zaken.

This cloak is obtained via the quest Zaken Embroidered Soul Cloak (Embroidered Soul Cloak 1). The quest is taken in Rune from Olf Adams. Then farm Zaken and collect 20 Zaken’s Soul Fragment. You get 1 item per successful farm. After you have enough, return to Rune to Olf Adams and get your reward.

Cloak of Frintezza (Cloak of Frintezza) – P.Def – 20, increases resist to all elements. Can drop from this RB.

Soul Cloak of Frintezza (Soul Cloak of Frintezza) – P.Def – 40, increases resist to all elements. Lets you teleport to RB Frintezza.

This cloak is obtained via the quest Frintezza Embroidered Soul Cloak (Embroidered Soul Cloak 3). The quest is taken in Rune from Olf Adams. Then farm Frintezza and collect 20 Frintezza’s Soul Fragment. You get 1 item per successful farm. After you have enough, return to Rune to Olf Adams and get your reward.

Cloak of Freya (Cloak of Freya) – P.Def – 30, increases resist to all elements. Can drop from this RB with a chance of 2.673% — 3.273%.

Soul Cloak of Freya (Soul Cloak of Freya) – P.Def – 60, increases resist to all elements. Lets you teleport to RB Freya.

This cloak, like the previous two, is obtained via the quest Freya Embroidered Soul Cloak (Embroidered Soul Cloak 2). The quest is taken in Rune from Olf Adams. Then farm Freya and collect 20 Freya’s Soul Fragment. You get 1 item per successful farm. After you have enough, return to Rune to Olf Adams and get your reward.

Where and how to unseal a cloak

All cloaks bought from NPCs, gotten from quests, or dropped from RBs come sealed and cannot be equipped like that — you need to remove the seal. You can unseal them at Weaver Olf Kanore or Weaver Olf Adams in Aden or Rune for a set amount of Adena. 

La2world server cloaks

On this server, besides extra armor and epic weapons, there are also special cloaks.

Festive Cloak (Festive Cloak) – P.Def – 25, Speed +3, all attribute resist +15.

This cloak comes in several color variants with fully identical stats — they only differ in look.

How to get

Method 1, buy for 1000 CRD, the server donate currency, 1 to 1 with the ruble, but you can also get it in-game.

Method 2, for 200 TvT Banner. This item comes from daily TvT: winning team gets 10 items, losing team up to 5. Fights run three times a day.

Method 3, for 15 la2world coins. These coins can drop from any RB in the game, regardless of level, with a 10% chance.

Cloak of Darkness (Cloak of  Darkness) – P.Def – 65, STR +1, WIT +1, INT +1. Damage dealt + 5%. On hit, reduces the target’s heal effectiveness by 10%. All attribute resist + 15.

Cloak of Light (Cloak of Light) – P.Def – 65, CON +1, DEX +1, MEN +1. Damage dealt – 5%. Heal effectiveness + 10%. All attribute resist + 15.

These cloaks can only be bought from the Grand Olympiad Manager for 300 Medal of Glory. You can get these items in several ways.

Method 1 — by doing the quests “Proof of Hunting the Dragon — Earth Dragon” and “Proof of Hunting the Dragon — Fire Dragon”. These quests are taken from NPC Antharas Watchman Theodric at the entrance to Antharas’ Lair, and from NPC Valakas Watchman Klein in the Forge of the Gods. You need to be in the CC that lands the last hit on the dragon and you get 10 Medal of Glory.

Method 2 — from Grand Olympiad fights: take the quest “Olympiad: Facing the Danger!”, play 10 fights in a row. For that you get 3 Medal of Glory. Also, for 5 wins in a row you get 3 medals, for 10 wins in a row 5 medals.

These cloaks cannot be traded, so decide right away which character will farm the items.
