The Noblesse quest is a core part of char progress, so every player has to complete it. You run it on subclass.

A few tips! — pick a combat-ready class, not above lvl 75, that can efficiently kill mobs that are fairly hard for your level. Also stock SoE scrolls and Speed pots if your server has no buffer.

The quest has 4 parts

• Precious Soul pt 1 (Possessor of a Precious Soul part 1) — available from char lvl 50.
• Precious Soul pt 2 (Possessor of a Precious Soul part 2) — available from char lvl 60.
• Precious Soul pt 3 (Possessor of a Precious Soul part 3) — available from char lvl 65.
• Precious Soul pt 4 (Possessor of a Precious Soul part 4) — available from char lvl 75.

This Noblesse quest guide is adapted for High Five chronicles. Maps with all NPCs and quest mobs for these chronicles are included.

 

Precious Soul (part 1)

1. The quest starts in Aden at NPC Talien, standing by the stairs in front of the central entrance to the city temple.

2. He sends you to Giran to talk to Gabrielle.

3. Next talk to Gilmore, standing at the entrance to Dragon Valley. In HF chronicles you get there: Oren Hunter’s Village Dragon Valley.

4. The knight sends you to find the witch Baraham. She lives at the Beehive. TP: Dion Beehive. Then run northwest to the hill until you find the cave entrance. Kill the witch, then you get the quest item Legend of Seventeen Heroes. After that return to Aden to Talien.

5. After talking to

Talien you get a new task. Go to Heine and find NPC Kantabilon.

6. Kantabilon sends you hunting — he needs 10 Malruk Succubus Claw. The items drop from Maluk Succubus or Maluk Succubus Turen. In High Five their location changed. You can find these mobs in the north of Dragon Valley. TP: Oren  Hunter’s Village Dragon Valley and run north. The mobs themselves are easy and not aggressive, claw drop chance in these chronicles is fairly high.

In earlier chronicles these mobs live in the center of Dragon Valley. TP: Giran Antharas’ Lair entrance and run east.

7. After farming the items, return to Kantabilon, he gives you Echo Crystal – Forgotten Song, take it to Talien in Aden.

8. Talien sends you to Hunter’s Village to find NPC Stedmiel. He’s in the Warrior Guild. Talk to him and you get Faded Poetry Book. Take this item back to Talien in Aden. He sends you to Rune with the next task.

9. TP to Rune Township. Run to the temple and go inside. After going down, on the left there will be a gatekeeper — use him to TP to the guilds. Go inside the hall and on the left find the stairs up to the balcony where the NPCs you need are.

10. Talk to dwarf Virgil, then talk to orc Ogmar. He sends you to Rune temple (you can go back the same way you got to the balcony, or pop a SoE and run to the temple from town). Here you need to find Rahorakti, on the first floor in the hall to the right of the stairs down.

11. Rahorakti sends you hunting. You need 5 Crimson Moss. Depending on the chronicles they drop from

In High Five chronicles from Taik Orc Supply Leader, lives at the Cemetery.	In earlier chronicles: Stakato Lone, Stakato Lone Worker, Stakato Lone Soldier, Stakato Lone Drone. They live in Swamp of Screams, TP from Rune.

12. After farming the items, return to Rune to Rahorakti. He gives you Rahorakti’s Miraculous Medicine. Take it to the temple balcony and give it to Kassandra. Then talk to dwarf Virgil (stands next to the girl) and take the next task.

13. The dwarf sends you to Town of Goddard to NPC Caradine. She gives you Virgil’s Letter. That’s it for part 1 of the Noblesse quest if you play High Five.

If you play earlier chronicles, you also need to go to blacksmith Noel in this town. He asks for:

• Hellfire Oil — 1 pc,
• Lunargent — 5 pcs.

You can farm them via the Supplier of Reagents quest, or buy from other players. On some servers they’re sold in a shop.

Precious Soul (part 2)

To start this part you need at least lvl 60. Done on subclass.

1. Fly to Rune and go up to the temple balcony to the same trio. Talk to Virgil and take the quest. Then talk to Kassandra, then to Ogmar. The orc gives you the next task — you’ll be running around a lot.

2. From Rune TP to Swamp of Screams. Run east along the path until you hit a dead knight surrounded by angel corpses. Talk to the knight, then to the angels until you get   Strand of Golden Hair. Then talk to the knight again. He sends you to the witch Kalis.

3. Path to Kalis: Oren Ivory Tower. Then run through the south exit and turn left. Keep running until you see stairs on a hill, go up and find the NPC.

4. Talk to the witch. She asks you to take from alchemist Matild and bring her Sorcery Ingredient. The alchemist lives west of the tower, on the other side of the river. Easiest is to run there on foot (you’ll have to swim a bit), or go via TPs. Pick up the item and return to Kalis, again on foot or via TP.

5. The witch sends you to Valley of Saints. TP: Rune Valley of Saints and run northeast until you find the cave entrance. Inside you need to kill all quest mobs Restrainer of Glory (70 level) and farm 4 Orb of Binding. These items are used to activate the columns next to NPC Fallen Unicorn. After that the unicorn comes alive and you talk to it.

6. Then return to Kassandra (Rune temple balcony), talk to her. Then talk to dwarf Virgil and get Caradine’s Letter.

That’s the end of part 2.

Precious Soul (part 3)

To start this part you need at least lvl 65. Done on subclass — you’ll need its combat skills here.

1. The quest starts in Goddard at Caradine. Then talk to Ossian, standing next to her. He sends you hunting for 2 quest items.

2. Fly to Valley of Saints from Rune and run deeper into the valley. Here you farm two items from specific mobs.

Pilgrim of Splendor. From him you farm Ring of Goddess Waterbinder.

From Judge of Splendor you farm Necklace of Goddess EverGreen.

Take both items to Ossian in Goddard.

3. Then he gives you another task. You need to kill Raid Boss Flame of Splendor Barakiel. He’s lvl 70, so bring chars of a matching level. Meaning you need a full party to farm him and drop Staff of Goddess Rain Song. Only the party that lands the killing blow gets the item, not everyone in the farm.

Luckily! Players on HF chronicles can do this quest solo. Farm 100 Staff of Goddess: Rain Song Fragment from these mobs:  Signet of Splendor, Wailing of Splendor, Fang of Splendor and Crown of Splendor. They all live in the northern part of Valley of Saints.

4. After killing the RB or farming 100 staff fragments, return to Ossian in Goddard. He gives you Relic Box. Take it to Ivory Tower, TP from Oren. There find Magister Ladd on the 4th floor of the tower. Use the floor TP to get there. He gives you the familiar Caradine’s Letter.

That’s the end of part 3.

Precious Soul (part 4)

You can take this quest from char lvl 75.

1. Talk to Caradine in Goddard. After a short dialog she TPs you to the zone near the Coliseum, where Lady of the Lake is waiting. Talk to her and you get Noblesse status with all privileges and the Noblesse Tiara.

Done! That’s the long Noblesse quest complete — without it you can’t really progress in Lineage 2.
