La2world craft system overview

First thing you need is a recipe — buy it from the special shop Cheap Jack. It lists the ingredients and parts for a successful craft. Ingredients come from chopping wood, mining ore and gems, and killing mobs.

L2 craft system

Each activity needs its own tool: Lumberjack Axe, Miner Hammer, Miner Pickaxe, Hunter Knife, Tailor Knife. Tools have tiers. Higher tier = better mats you can farm. Example: a tier 1 pickaxe only gets Sapphires and Stones, a tier 4 pickaxe gets Sapphires, Emeralds, Rubies, Diamonds, and Stones. Tools can be bought. Blueprints for parts can also be bought from Cheap Jack or in Alt+B shop for Adena or Craft Points (craft points) you earn while farming mats. Parts and Craft Points, same as tools you craft, can’t be traded or sold. Approximate map of mobs that drop craft items.

Tip. Buy a tier 4 tool right away — you’ll farm better mats while farming.

To farm this you need a Hunter Knife. Hide and scraps are taken from an already dead animal, so you need one more hit on the corpse.

To farm this you need a Tailor Knife. When equipped you get a special skill tailoring. Put it on your hotbar. Target a spider and use the skill on it — proc chance isn’t 100% — then hit it with the knife and farm the mats.
